Our History
Chain-O-Lakes Church began in 1995 as a group of believers meeting together weekly for Bible study. Worship services were begun in October 1996 and the congregation was organized as a particular church (with our own elders, bylaws, etc.) in January 2002. We have met in various rented facilities until God blessed us with a building of our own which we began to use in August 2005. In October 2007 God provided Rev. Bruce Buchanan to serve as our pastor.
Our Affiliation
Chain-O-Lakes Church is part of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church which began in 1936 as a testimony to the truth and authority of the Bible. “Orthodox” means straight thinking. In an Orthodox Presbyterian Church, you will find straight teaching following the long-accepted pattern given in the Bible. We are a church that believes what the Bible says and we try to put it into practice.
Nursery
We believe that worship is important not just for our adult members but also for our children and we therefore encourage you to keep your children with you as much as possible. However, we understand that children can become unruly, and therefore a nursery service is available as needed, at any time before or during the service. Please bring your child to the attendant at the back of the assembly near the door, seated under the blue sign on the wall.
